Sindh Craft Festival Celebrates Cultural Heritage and Empowers Rural Women

Sindh: The Sindh Craft Festival, aimed at highlighting the region's ancient civilization, traditions, arts, and crafts, concluded on a successful note, drawing attention to the province's rich cultural heritage.

On the final day, UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid, Consul General Bakhit Atique, and provincial ministers visited the festival, interacted with the artisans, and purchased cultural items.

The festival not only showcased Sindh's history and culture but also provided significant employment opportunities for rural women. Over 90 stalls displayed handicrafts made by rural women, including traditional ajrak, ralli quilts, Sindhi caps, and other handwoven items.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the festival, noting that it was a step in the right direction, as it not only presented the vibrant face of Sindh to the world but also province.
